The newly appointed Chair of NISEF commends the Fire & Safety course

Greg Smylie, the recently appointed Chair of the Northern Ireland Fire and Security Employers Federation (NISEF) and Managing Director of Beacon Fire & Security (NI), urges both members and school graduates to consider enrolling in the Fire & Security course –

“We have been meeting as a committee for several years now and have had great success working with SERC and the Met with regard to shaping the Fire & Security course to suit employers while helping to make the course exciting and rewarding for young engineers… The participants get a structured course with recognised skills that lead to a rewarding career that can be varied, interesting and challenging. Over the last number of years, we have managed, along with the colleges, to help evolve the certification awarding bodies and bring the whole structure of the course up to date.”
