Engineers Of Tomorrow Competition

IFSEC International 2019 @ ExCel London

Engineers of Tomorrow is an engineering competition between fire and security apprentices that takes place during IFSEC International at London ExCeL, which sees the next generation of security and fire engineers compete against each other in a live installation challenge.

The competition takes place across 3 days with 1 heat per day in which the overall heat winners and their employers are then invited to the Security & Fire Excellence Awards taking place 20th November 2019.

The awards include a Cash prize to the overall winners (£1,000), runners-up (£500) and for third place (£300) at the awards.

Employers putting forward their apprentices will highlight their skilled workforce but also it is also a great chance for free business exposure in the security industry, demonstrating their commitment to employee development and the continued development of young engineers.

Apprentices that are competing will have a great opportunity to prove their skills on an international platform while raising their profile in the industry. They were also in for a chance to win prizes for winners of each heat that will be presented each day of the competiton, alongwith the chance to £1000 in cash.

Engineers of Tomorrow 2019 competition saw Beacon Fire & Security’s very own Adam Smylie & Scott McNab win their heat on the second day of competition.
